If you are looking for something that&#039;s been clinically proven to treat herpes you can also go for Valtrex, Acyclovir, and/or Famvir. 

People that don&#039;t have insurance might want to stick with Acyclovir as it&#039;s cheaper and much more affordable. The only drawback to it is that you have to take more during the day than you would if you were taking Valtrex and/or Famvir. 

I&#039;ve never heard of Entrin before so that&#039;s a new one. I&#039;m guessing that you can purchase it over the counter then?</description>
