I would suggest starting a butterfly garden. But then I’m biased because that’s what I’m into. It could always start out simple too. For much of the US, a person could buy 2-3 parsley and fennel plants and in a few weeks most likely Black Swallowtails will have laid eggs on them. Its a great way to teach kids about butterflies and wildlife in general and how its important for native habitats to be preserved.
