My three kids are back in school which means it is time for me to get back into some of my own good habits – like menu planning! I really do believe that menu planning is the single most powerful tool I have for saving money, saving my sanity and keeping my family healthy.
On the menu this week:
- Monday – Island Kielbasa over Rice with Steamed Vegetables
- Tuesday – Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
- Wednesday – Beef Stir Fry over Rice
- Thursday – Taco Bar
- Friday – Leftover Buffet
Since I have been eating a gluten free diet since May, I will be making our meals gluten-free where ever possible, but for family favorites like Grilled Cheese, I will just substitute something I keep on hand like a Glutino Spinach and Feta pizza for myself.
