Menu Plan Monday – Groundhog Day

One of the best things about doing menu planning is that your family does not begin to think every day is Groundhog Day due to the repetition of dinner options. Just taking a few minutes at the beginning of the week to plan things out will give your family the variety they need and can save you a lot of money!

Our menu this week:

  • Monday – Mom’s famous meatballs (5 lbs. meatballs, chili sauce & grape jelly in slow cooker) left over from Super Bowl Sunday over rice, steamed veggies
  • Tuesday – Crazy sports night – Subway sandwiches
  • WednesdayCashew Sweet & Sour Pork over rice, apple crisp for dessert
  • ThursdaySlow Cooker Upside-Down Chicken Pot Pie
  • Friday – Bean & Cheese Burritos, raw veggies with dip

What’s on your menu this week? If you need ideas, feel free to check out my Menu Plan Monday archives or head over to Laura’s at Organizing Junkie for links to hundreds of menus this week.

And since it is Groundhog Day, get the kids in on the fun with a fun Groundhog Day printable coloring page and activity from our sister site, Printables4Kids.com.
