Menu Plan Monday

In January 2007 I began posting my weekly menus as part of Menu Plan Monday at Laura’s I’m An Organizing Junkie. These menus have been posted at my personal blog, Casual Keystrokes, but I have decided that this site is a better venue for me to post my menus at from here forward.

Why Menu Plan? As a busy Mom of three active kids, I have found that by taking 30 minutes each Sunday to go over my calendar and plan our meals for the week, that we eat healthier, save money, and I keep my sanity.

On the menu this week:

  • Monday – Spaghetti with marinara sauce, Texas Toast, salad
  • Tuesday – Homemade chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, carrots
  • Wednesday – going out for my daughter’s birthday dinner
  • Thursday – Chili in the slow cooker, rice, salad
  • Friday – Stir Fry Beef & Broccoli

    Oh, I like it better if you plan and I just be a big copy cat! I’m terrible at meal planning even though I’ve tried to do it for the last 2 or so years. I just forget and I’m not creative at all, so I’ll just steal a few ideas from you and try to get the ball rolling.
