Menu Plan Monday – September 29
Cooler days and nights definitely are putting me in the mood for soups, chili and other slow cooked comfort food! With a little planning, your family can eat healthy, satisfying meals by using a slow cooker guaranteed to save money, too. This week I plan on giving my Hamilton Beach 33141 4-Quart Oval Slow Cooker a serious workout since we have evening sports practices four of five nights.
- Monday – boy’s request – Sloppy Joe’s, steamed veggies, baked sweet potato fries (I will make the Sloppy Joe meat ahead of time and keep it warm and ready to eat in the Crock-Pot)
- Tuesday – Southwest Potato Corn Chowder, veggies & dip
- Wednesday – Sirloin Caesar Salad, Nilla Apple Crisp
- Thursday – Nicole’s Wonderful White Chicken Chili, Cheese Quesadilla wedges
- Friday – Hockey game after Swim practice – may have order pizza after the game
What’s on your menu this week? If you need ideas, feel free to check out my Menu Plan Monday archives or head over to Laura’s at Organizing Junkie for links to hundreds of menus this week.

Thanks for the crockpot recipe links! I also like the Year of CrockPotting blog (http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/) for inspiration!
That white chicken chili sounds good! I’ll have to try it.
