Usually I take an extra backpack on trips to keep spare clothes, a few snacks, the red bag, and other diversions. In 'the old days', I carried about nappies, drinks, food, medication etc, but thought we'd outgrown all that. I even invested in a new, smaller, more elegant bag. More of a handbag, and less of a backpack. I was so wrong! I think I may need to bring my Emergency Bag back into use – I was out with one of the children yesterday, and needed supplies.
