Menu Plan Monday - Week of November 3

Menu planning is one of the best ways to keep your week sane, and while I haven’t posted my menus for the past few weeks, I have been doing them. I have had a super productive day today - as I got the kids playroom completely cleaned out. Then I did my menu plan for the week before going grocery shopping which is a big money saver. So here is our menu plan for the week:

  • Monday - Slow cooker boneless ribs, rolls, green bean casserole
  • Tuesday - BLT quesadillas, tomato soup, raw veggies
  • Wednesday - Orange chicken rice bowl
  • Thursday - Take out
  • Friday - Baked macaroni & cheese, tossed salad

What’s on your menu this week? If you need ideas, feel free to check out my Menu Plan Monday archives or head over to Laura’s at Organizing Junkie for links to hundreds of menus this week.

Fun with Fall Fruit - Ghostly Pears

Last week my girls decided to have some early Halloween fun and create ghosts out of pears covered in white chocolate. They got a little out of hand - adding a few too many flourishes, but you can get the idea. The recipe is so simple. Melt a bag of white chocolate chips in a glass container in the microwave (do in 1 minute increments). Spoon the melted white chocolate over the pears and add chocolate chips for eyes.

Here are some more ideas for fun with fall fruits and vegetables:
