		<description>This is such an important post!  I&#039;m thinking the same way with my kids.  And its vital to walk them through the teaching phase step by step.. for example, I asked my 10 year old to do a load of laundry, although I never showed him what to do.   When I went up to check on him, he had just poured a cup of bleach on our colored clothes, cause he assumed it was the laundry soap!!

The ultimate goal is to raise kids to be independent. I firmly beleive this too!</description>
