Easy, Peasy Teacher Appreciation Gift

Easy Teacher Gift

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and while you may feel stressed about what to get or make for your kids’ teachers, think simple

I recently got a custom, self-inking stamp from my friends at and it is the perfect finishing touch on any gift. As a matter of fact, I think it takes any basic gift and really makes it special. The one I chose was designed by Laura Kelly and can be used by my daughters and me for a variety of projects and gifting.

So, how did I create this sweet little gift? It was so easy. I used a glass jar from the dollar aisle and filled it with yummy chocolates. I love the color scheme in the scrapbook paper I had on hand so I cut a tag from the print, layered it with a smaller tag, stamped it, added buttons from Buttons Galore and More for fun and used a bit of Offray ribbon to attach it. As a final touch, I used a round punch to get an extra circle for the finishing touch on the top.

This whole project took less than 10 minutes and I know the teacher will love it.

Why is it that everything looks cuter when it’s in a jar! That’s an adorable tag and I love the stamp!
