Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and while you may feel stressed about what to get or make for your kids’ teachers, think simple.
I recently got a custom, self-inking stamp from my friends at Expressionery.com and it is the perfect finishing touch on any gift. As a matter of fact, I think it takes any basic gift and really makes it special. The one I chose was designed by Laura Kelly and can be used by my daughters and me for a variety of projects and gifting.
So, how did I create this sweet little gift? It was so easy. I used a glass jar from the dollar aisle and filled it with yummy chocolates. I love the color scheme in the scrapbook paper I had on hand so I cut a tag from the print, layered it with a smaller tag, stamped it, added buttons from Buttons Galore and More for fun and used a bit of Offray ribbon to attach it. As a final touch, I used a round punch to get an extra circle for the finishing touch on the top.
This whole project took less than 10 minutes and I know the teacher will love it.
