Warby Parker – Making Prescription Eyewear More Affordable

disclosure

I have been putting off something very important for about a year now. Going to get my eyeglasses prescription checked. Why? Because I know it needs to be updated, but the cost of getting new glasses terrifies me and since my daughter needs new glasses too, I was freaking out about the idea of having to spend over $600 just to get us both in new glasses.

Luckily I found Warby Parker

Warby Parker Eyeglasses - Nedwin in Summer Green

Warby Parker sells affordable eyewear and for every pair you purchase, they donate a pair to someone in need. So instead of spending about $300 each to get my daughter and myself in new glasses, with Warby Parker I am looking at $95 each and that includes the lenses.

Warby Parker has a home try on program that lets you select 5 different frames from their website and then try them on at home. Ask your family, share the photos on social media and get feedback form friends and choose the pair you like best. Shipping is free both ways, so once you have picked out your frame, you just email your prescription and they make your glasses for you.

My daughter ordered her frames to try on at a home and I am ordering mine today. I will keep you posted and we may even let you help us pick which frames will look best on each of us.
